We have found another gem…..El Berro in the heart of the Murcia countryside and the National Park of the Sierra Espuna. Following our noses and a campsite guide which has places to stay seemingly in the middle of nowhere is doing us just fine.
Three nights here (and a hearty debate as to whether we would spend more) we enjoy some fabulous walking. Other punters are doing some serious mountain biking; neither our legs or our bikes are up to the terrain. But the walking boots are. The scenery is beautiful and at this time of year the flowers stunning, even the weeds along the path, some of which I grow in the garden at home. More of these later.
